Nestled in Virginia’s historic Shenandoah Valley, Artists in Cahoots was founded in 1982, and opened at the corner of Main and Henry in The Old Main Street Mall in 1983.
We are a cooperative of local artists and craftspeople with expertise in areas including: painting, printmaking, silver and gold jewelry, ceramic jewelry, pottery, ironwork, woodworking, photography, sculpture, fabric arts, and much more.
In addition to our regular Artist Members, we also show the work of a number of consigning artists and craftspeople. Woven fiber, turned wood, blown glass, forged metal, hand made baskets, unique jewelry and hand carved wood add breadth and depth to the array of wonderful things waiting for you at Artists in Cahoots.
Artists in Cahoots remains true to its founding mission of local people designing one of a kind pieces that embody quality and originality while reflecting the character of our area.
Take a moment to peruse our website to learn more about our artistry and contact the artists directly. We have a limited selection of works available at our Online Shop though when you visit our gallery, you will find artists on site and available to answer your questions, as well as everything we have to offer.
Find us at 21 W. Washington in downtown Lexington. We look forward to seeing you.
