Ed’s work reflects where he has traveled and the emotions caused by what he sees – whether it’s a fire escape or a hot dog stand.  At times Bordett  goes off on tangents from this subject matter and plays with mood and atmosphere rather than focusing on architecture.

His paintings and serigraphs are very realistic but have a certain abstractness to them.  He takes something that people drive by everyday and he helps them see it in a new way.
